Westapher Golf Tournament
The 42nd Annual Westapher Golf Charity, presented by the Preston Center Rotary Club, will be held on Monday, October 8, 2007 at the Northwood Club. The silent auction and dinner will be held the evening before the tournament this year, Sunday, October 7th. This is the fourth year the charity will benefit Nexus and we are proud to announce Comerica Bank as the title sponsor. The tournament is a great opportunity to offer your support and to play at the Northwood Club. The four-player team scramble event offers participants a change to compete for the Westapher trophy, plus a wide-array of prizes and a $5,000 putting contest.

Annual campaign
Since 1994, when our annual campaign began, Nexus donors have given more than $650,000 to support our programs. Letters are mailed the second week of November each year and we ask that donors give, as they are able.
Our donors are a unique group of people. They are made up of former clients, concerned citizens and people whose lives have been touched by the miracle of recovery. And they understand that women have unique treatment issues.

Tom Thumb Good Neighbor Program
If you are a Tom Thumb shopper you can help Nexus Recovery Center every time you shop. Stop by the customer service center and ask them to link your Reward Card to #415. Nexus will receive a percentage of your total grocery bill every time you shop.
Planned Giving
When you give to Nexus Recovery Center through a planned gift you can experience immediate and long term benefits, as well as leaving a legacy of future stability to Nexus. Gifts can be made in the form of bequests, real estate, life insurance and stock. Serenity Garden
Nexus has plans to build a serenity garden with a stone labyrinth as the centerpiece of the project. The garden will include an alumnae tree, rolling hills, benches, and various plants as an area for clients to reflect and meditate while in treatment. It will be built in stages by volunteers and clients who wish to participate. We are currently seeking corporate volunteers to break ground on the project.
