Substance Abuse Treatment

Treatment Philosophy

• Our programs are based on the Twelve Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) and Narcotics Anonymous (NA).
• We speak to the special needs of females by being trauma informed and addressing gender-specific treatment issues.
• We take a holistic approach to recovery – focusing on the physical, emotional, spiritual, family and mental health needs of each woman.
• We are committed to empowering our clients by teaching and modeling personal accountability and responsibility and providing coping skills training.
• We encourage continued involvement with Nexus Recovery Center, through aftercare and alumni activities.

We Believe...

• We believe people are capable of dramatic change when in a nurturing and supportive environment.
• We believe in assisting the entire family affected by abuse, especially children.
• We believe recovery is a lifelong journey. We provide a full continuum of care including detoxification, residential and outpatient treatment, housing, and aftercare services. There is something for every female seeking recovery.
• We believe… your story’s not over yet.
I really never knew there was any other way to live.
