You can make a difference in the lives of women and children healing from the devastating effects of addiction.  There are numerous opportunities to help out – from a one-time building maintenance job to ongoing support of the clothes closet.  Volunteers who help out on a regular basis are carefully screened and interviewed to determine the best match between the volunteer and the project.  For more information contact nridley@nexusrecovery.org.

Volunteers from the Women’s Auxiliary of Nexus made sure that Santa stopped off to see the children at Nexus this year.

Pre-schoolers and school-aged children enjoyed a storyteller, a craft activity, tasty Christmas treats and a visit from Santa at this year’s party.  Volunteers also helped the children create a “box of love” to give to their mothers for Christmas. 

Volunteers at Nexus provide holiday parties, help out in classrooms, maintain the clothes closet and provide landscaping assistance. Local churches and corporations provide groups for one-time and on-going projects. If you are interested in volunteering at Nexus, email us.
