Outpatient Donations  Each counselor has drawings once a week for "client of the week", perfect attendance awards, punctuality awards, etc.  Often the counselors will spend their own money for these.  They would love things like toiletry items, journals, meditation books, gift certificates (like for groceries, gas, Target), movie passes, toys and books for small children.  The counselors have also requested 12-Step posters; donations of Big Books to both give clients and keep in their group rooms and S.T.E.P. Parenting books for the counselors.  Contact:  Sam Hilliard, ext. 2500, shilliard@nexusrecovery.org.

Outpatient Parties  Volunteers are needed to help with parties, such as decorating the group room and providing some food for Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and New Years Eve.  At Christmas time the counselors could use help before the day of the party wrapping the kids' and clients' gifts, which we get through donations from the Women’s Auxiliary Christmas Tea.  Contact:  Sam Hilliard, ext. 2500, shilliard@nexusrecovery.org.
